May is National Foster Care Month and Mother’s Day on May 9th
There is no better time than Mother’s Day to support children who need long-term foster care placements or adoptive families. Our Annual Appeal goal is to raise $30,000 to support the children in Adoption Alliance’s foster care program. Unfortunately, that is not possible for an estimated 143 Million orphans worldwide, over 520,000 children in foster care in the U.S., and more than 7,000 children in the foster care system in the State of Colorado. Adoption Alliance is dedicated to placing children in stable and loving homes, rather than allowing them to be shuffled around the foster care system. We must work together to nurture as many children as possible, in every way we can. When children are in a safe, stable, committed family, they can reach their full potential and communities thrive.
